Her background in the arts includes scenic art, murals, faux finish, book arts, altered books, acrylic painting, collage, and mixed media. She also has background in design, branding, packaging, and marketing. Current work is primarily in mixed media, incorporating acrylic paint, paper collage, pastel, and other mediums into her pieces. Because she is very inspired by urban landscapes and industrial settings, but also finds peace in nature, she enjoys playing with the contrast of the natural and man made themes in her work. Most of her work also includes “found” items, another source of inspiration.
