I'm currently working on a number of projects, especially focusing on writing fiction. I've got a couple of novels in the works, plus some short stories, but I'm mainly delving into a screenplay called 'The Creature Who Did that One Thing that Was Really Scary'... which is kind of like writing a bicycle.-6.29.10

I'll  be going through all the old blog entries in the coming days / months / whatever, to categorize everything, and will post the poems, and now reviews, and such and such, in their own categories on the site, so everything will be more accessible/archived properly, etc.  - 6.29.10

The screenplay Hiroshima, which I completed around Summer of 2008, is currently seeking production. I would like to see it become a perfect film... such as the likes of 'Cool Hand Luke' and 'Ernest Scared Stupid'. If you are interested in optioning the feature, please contact me, if you're serious.
If you're a publisher interested in putting out Down With Strangers, send me a carrier pidgeon? theneonheart@gmail.com

"Feed deep, deep upon her peerless eyes"
John Keats, 'Ode on Melancholy'

A bunch of kids from the St. Louis area, artistic by blood and mettle, are trying to get by in the world of ‘as-is’ and… others. When they’re not performing at poetry readings, trying to live sincerely with love anywhere/anyway they can scrape it, or painting the town more colors than red, they’re making a living as understudies in underhanded business everywhere. But then, the word comes. Of course it would be a news broadcast that would decide the fate of the world: Tonight on Channel 5: ‘Scientists have discovered a comet headed towards the earth. The comet, which they’ve christened ‘Nemesis’, will cross Earth’s orbit approximately eight months from now. The public is advised not to panic.” While facing one’s imminent demise, and the collapse of society, some interesting lessons are learned.
