I am Scott Thomas Smith, published author from St. Louis City. I've lived here most of my life but have traveled around the U.S. quite a bit. You can see my scant publishing credits on the writing page. I have a lot of unpublished poems and a novel and screenplay which I wouldn't mind someone picking up, but mostly I'm working on my own time. I have many projects going on, too many, so I've decided to not make up any new projects until I finish one or two of the 12-15 stories (novels, screenplays, short stories) I've got in the fire and am now focusing all my attention on the writing and designing of my role playing video game called 'ExXception Draft'. ExXception Draft is an old school style RPG made with RPG Maker XP, It will be the "Great American Video Game", the novel-game that the modernists wish they could have written but instead were forced to write things like 'Ulysses' and 'End Game', built in the style of Henry Miller, David Foster Wallace, Neal Stephenson, and Haruki Murakami. It's a cyberpunk/supernatural odyssey, with a detective story at the heart, with comic book and noir elements over-thrown. Follow this blog for news of its development.
